why the divide?

Land for one,

hell for many.

Iron domes and destruction of homes;

does it make sense?

Protests and rallies,

forcing you to decide,

which one is worth boycotting,

and which one is worth the fight.

They are keeping a tally.

We count:

the sad days,

the distraught faces,

the destroyed places,

the toxic ways,

of annihilating each other.

All for a border,

this chaos and disorder.
