Feeling like I am not doing enough.

Just taking up space,

is a daily battle I face.

In a place with so much pain,

suffering and hate;

how do I make a positive change?

Struggling with this feeling is tough.

Knowing that corruption and greed

insidiously taint daily deeds,

is what spurns this need

to make a change that will offer relief,

and hopefully inspire others to believe.

Talking about it can be rough,

especially to those who do not understand

that these things are planned,

by those we trust to take a stand.

We must come together and withstand

this destruction of our beautiful homeland.
