Fire

It begins… Slowly at first, smouldering, alerting the leaves, catching from tree to tree. Igniting into a scorching-hot blaze, trailing embers in its wake. Ashy remnants of a powerful force, claiming its place, showing no remorse. Devastating but cleansing, allowing new life to spark into being.

Jacaranda

Purple avenues of dappled sunlight, shining through lilac canopies, landing softly on violet carpeted streets; full of Spring memories. Petals that drift in the wind like confetti in the air. Dancing in the sky, celebrating life in the city.
